Schools in Uva province closed tomorrow

All schools in the Uva Province will be closed tomorrow (19 Sept.) due to the PC polls, Provincial Education Director said.
All together 617 candidates (323 - Monaragala and 294 - Badulla) representing 14 political parties and 11 independent groups will contest the election. 14 councilors will be elected for the Moneragala district while 18 will be elected for the Badulla district.
provincial council election is scheduled to be held on the 20 Sept.
