Indian police destroy explosives seized from LTTE

A special Indian police team has safely detonated and destroyed explosive materials seized from Liberation Tiger of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in 1985, here on Friday, the Hindu reports.
The Indian police said the explosives were seized in the coastal areas of the district, particularly Vedarnayam and Kodiyakkarai.
Police had seized 166 detonators and 250 hand bombs and had kept it under their safe custody.
