Sixteen more Indian fishermen arrested

Sixteen more Indian fishermen who illegally crossed the international sea boundary have been arrested by the Navy, early hours of this morning (30).
 
The fishermen were arrested off Karainagarsea, Jaffna by a routine patrolling team. The navy has also seized four fishing trawlers.
 
The arrested fishermen have been handed over to the officials of the Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources in Jaffna for further legal action.
