Sl. vs Ind. ODIs: Kohli to lead Indian team

In the five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli will be seen leading Indian squad in the first three One Day Internationals (ODIs) as regular skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been rested for the series which will begin next month.

Bengal wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Shah has been chosen to play while talented Kerala batsman Sanju V Samson has been kept at bay in the 15-member squad.

However, R Ashwin, who did not play in the series against West Indies, has been recalled in the squad.

The five matches against Sri Lanka will be played at Cuttack, Hyderabad, Ranchi, Kolkata and Ahmedabad respectively.

The squad: Virat Kohli (Captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, Wriddhiman Saha, R. Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Amit Mishra, M Vijay, Varun Aaron and Akshar Patel.  - pardaphash
