56-year-old clubbed to death in Hatton

A person has been clubbed to death at the Gremore Estate in Agarapathana, Hatton after a dispute between two neighboring families had escalated out of control.

The victim, a 56-year-old resident of Gremore Estate, was admitted to the Agarapathana Hospital with critical injuries following the incident and later transferred to the Nuwara Eliya Hospital for further treatment.

However, he had succumbed to injuries shortly after.

Three suspects who have been identified over the murder have reportedly fled the area in an attempt to evade arrest.
