Another UPFA parliamentarian joins UNP

UPFA Vanni district MP Hunais Farook has joined the United National Party (UNP), Ada Derana reporter said.

Farook said that he has decided to join the UNP during a meeting held at Sirikotha where Common Candidate Maithripala Sirisena and Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe participated.

Farook represents the Vanni multi-member electoral districtand was a member of the United Peoples Freedom Alliance and was elected in the 2010 Parliamentary elections.
