17-year old girl drowned in Galaboda Ella

A 17-year old girl has drowned while bathing in the Galaboda Ella (waterfall) in Nawalapitiya on Saturday (28).
Her body was recovered last evening, the police said.
Divers took out her body, which was sent for autopsy to the Nawalapitiya Base hospital.
The deceased has been identified as a resident of Galaboda area in Nawalapitiya.
