Sections related to media in the 19th Amendment will be removed, Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe said in the Parliament, a short while ago.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Saturday (25) alleged that there is a move to impair media industry through some new sections of the Amendment.

President Maithripala Sirisena began the second reading of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution in Parliament, this morning (27).
