Several prominent politicians from across the nation arrived at polling stations today to cast their vote for the Local Government election. 

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived at the Colombo University to cast his vote for the Local Government election earlier today (10). 

The Prime Minister spoke to the media after his attendance where he commended the commission of elections for flawlessly executing their administrative duties. 

President Maithripala Sirisena arrived at the Pollonnaruwa New Town polling station to cast his vote for the Local Government election earlier today. 

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa casted his vote at the Medamulana polling station.
