Some 80 maids return from Kuwait

A group of about 80 maids from Kuwait have returned to the country, the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment says.
The group arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning (13).
According to the Bureau, these maids are among those whose visas were expired, left their employers or who faced abuse by their employers.
Another group of maids is also scheduled to return to the country next week, it was reported.
