Two naval ratings arrested for drunk and disorderly conduct

Two naval ratings have been arrested today by police for alleged disorderly conduct while under the influence of alcohol at the Colombo Fort Railway Station.
The suspects, who are attached to the Wellawatta coastal guard unit of the Sri Lanka Navy, were taken into custody at around 1.30am, police said.
They are to be produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (27).
