One injured in Welikada shooting

An individual was injured after an unidentified gunman opened fire at him in Obesekarapura area in Welikada, the police said.

The gunman, who was the pillion rider of a motorcycle, had fled the area soon after the shooting, it was reported.

The injured person has been admitted to the Colombo National hospital for treatments.
