Navy arrests 17 Australia-bound illegal migrants and boat

Sri Lanka Navy today intercepted a mechanized boat illegally bound for Australia with 17 persons onboard off the Southern coast.
The boat which had set out to sea from Negombo was detected by personnel attached to the Galle navy camp.
The boat and the 17 passengers were escorted to the Galle Navy Harbour a short while ago, Ada Derana reporter said.
