‘January is Still Black’…

The Free Media Movement and several other civil organizations launched a rally at the Lipton roundabout in Colombo yesterday (29), seeking justice for the acts of violence against journalists. At the rally which was held under the slogan ‘January is Still Black’, the activists demanded the perpetrators of the violence identified. The rally concluded with a candlelight vigil held in remembrance of the lost journalists. Photos by: Osanda Daham Nimsara
