LG polls in early 2017 - Faizer Mustapha

The Local Government elections would be held in the first quarter of next year, Minister of Local Government and Provincial Councils Faizer Mustapha says.
The observation was made while speaking at a press conference held in Colombo this morning (02).
He pointed out that polls related issued will be sorted out by the Delimitation Commission by next month.
Earlier, President Maithripala Sirisena also said the elections for LG bodies would be held early 2017.
