Dematagoda shooting: five more arrested

Five more alleged underworld figures have been arrested along with firearms and live ammunitions in their possession in connection with the shooting incident occurred on a prison bus in Dematagoda, the police said.

The suspects were arrested upon a ripoff by notorious underworld gangster Sanka Shirantha alias Bloemendhal Sanka who had previously surrendered to the police.

Ten firearms including a sniper weapon have been seized, it was reported.
