12 hour water cut in parts of Colombo

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced that an 11 hour water cut will affect several areas including Maharagama, Kotte, Malabe and parts of Colombo from 12 noon tomorrow (23) to 12 midnight.
The water supply to the following areas will be temporarily suspended:
Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte Municipal Council area, Battaramulla, Koswatta, Thalawathugoda, Malabe, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa Urban Council area, Hokandara, Kalapaluwawa and Jayawadanagama.
Colombo 06 and Colombo 08 will receive water supply at low pressure during this time period.
The water board said that the water cut is being imposed due to urgent repairs and requested the public to store sufficient water in advance.
