Navy apprehends three fishermen engaged in illegal fishing

The Navy has arrested three local fishermen who engaged in illegal fishing activities using monofilament nets in the seas off Southbar.
Along with the suspects; three monofilament nets were also taken into naval custody.
The apprehended persons and belongings were produced to Mannar Assistant Directorate of Fisheries for further investigations.
