Four people arrested with a firearm in Thabbowa

Four people have been arrested with a rifle and live ammunition in their possession in Thabbowa, Marawila area, police said.
The arrest was made following an investigation carried out in connection with a complaint which alleged that the suspects had fired shots into the sky in Dunkannawa area.
The weapon and live ammunition were found from a culvert upon information provided by a suspect. Further investigations are carried out by the Marawila Police.
