B-town has long been abuzz with rumors that Fawad Khan will be seen in a movie that will be made under Salman Khan’s production house called SKF (Salman Khan Film).

Of late, the gossips have been confirmed by Filmistaan maker Nitin Kakkar, who will be wielding the megaphones for SKF’s upcoming. At present, Salman is busy with Kabir Khan’s ‘Tubelight’.

“We go on floors with Fawad sometime next year”, Nitin revealed, adding, “He is locked in. We are currently in the process of getting an actress on board”. The director also divulged that the movie is an urbane love story. “This is an urbane love story. But more than that, it’s an interesting take on relationships between a boy and a girl”.

A few months back, rumor mills were churning the news that Fawad will be playing the lead role in Salman’s ‘Jugalbandi’. Touching upon the same, a source revealed, “Amar Butala, who’s heading SKF, has been in constant touch with Fawad and it’s true that the two have finally decided to work together. But it’s not for Jugalbandi. Fawad has greenlit Filmistaan director Nitin Kakkar’s next film instead”.

Seemingly, Fawad is all set to treat his Bollywood fans with more of his acting prowess and killer looks. The actor debuted in Hindi Cinema with Sonam Kapoor in ‘Khoobsurat’ and was last seen in ‘Kapoor & Sons’. He will next be seen in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, which is scheduled for release on October 28.
