Two nabbed with ecstasy pills in Maligawatta

Two suspects involved in a ecstasy pills distribution racket have been arrested in the Maligawatta area, police said.
Upon the arrest and search of a suspicious individual by the Police Narcotics Bureau, around 45 pills and Rs 20,000 in cash were discovered in his possession.
After he was interrogated by sleuths, information regarding his supplier were uncovered leading to the arrest of another suspect in Maligawatta.
Over 100 ecstasy pills and Rs 60,000 in cash was seized by the narcotics offices.
The arrested suspects are to be produced at the Maligakanda Magistrate’s Court while the PNB is conducting further investigations.
