Man killed by elephant in Polonnaruwa

A man has been trampled to death by a wild elephant in Polonnaruwa early hours of this morning (26), the police said.  


The police have identified the individual as a 35-year-old who was a resident of Labugahawatichcha Ela in Polonnaruwa.


The remains of the deceased have been deposited at the Polonnaruwa hospital pending an autopsy.
