Sarath Weerawansa granted bail

MP Wimal Weerawansa’s brother Sarath Weerawansa, who was remanded on charges of misusing state property, has been granted bail by the Colombo Fort Magistrate on Wednesday.
The Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division (FCID) had filed a case against the defendant accusing him of misusing a state vehicle under the Offences Against Public Property Act. He was arrested by the FCID on September 01.
