Two nabbed in Avissawella with cocaine

Two persons were arrested early Wednesday morning in Thalduwa, Avissawella with approximately 1.1 kilo of suspected cocaine worth around Rs.10 million.
The arrest was made by the Department of Excise after they received a tip about the suspects, an official said.
The suspects have been identified as residents of Hatton and Dikoya areas. They will be produced before the Avissawella Magistrate’s Court in the afternoon.
