Indian held at BIA with gold biscuits

An Indian national was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport for attempting to smuggle three gold biscuits out of the country.
The custom officials have found the gold biscuits canceled inside his luggage, a spokesperson said. The estimated value of the seized gold is over Rs.1.6 million, it was reported.
