Judge’s son reportedly injured following clash at Pera uni

A son of a High Court Judge has reportedly been injured following a clash at the University of Peradeniya on Wednesday, Ada Derana reporter said.


The clash erupted after the victim had attempted to save a first year student who subjected to ragging by senior undergraduates, it was reported.


The police said that they have identified eight students who involved in the incident and an investigation is underway to locate them.


The university’s administration has also launched an investigation into the matter, a spokesperson said.
