Assault on journalist Keith Noyahr: two more arrested

The police have made two more arrests in connection with the abduction and assault on journalist Keith Noyahr in 2008, police said.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has apprehended two more army personnel on Sunday, police spokesperson DIG Priyantha Jayakody said.
Three army personnel including a Major were also apprehended with respect of the case earlier.
Noyahr, the former Deputy Editor with a English weekly newspaper, was abducted on May 22, 2008. A day later, he was dropped off near his residence, badly beaten up and bruised. He spent days in the hospital after the attack before he left the country.
