Three nabbed for pelting stones at train

Three individuals were arrested by the Vavuniya police on the allegation of pelting stones at a passenger train, Ada Derana reporter said.


The stones were reportedly pelted at a Colombo bound train in Chathamkulam area in Vavuniya however, nobody was injured in the incident, it was reported.


The suspects are identified as 20-year-olds who are residents of the same area.


They will be produced before the Vavuniya Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
