Ten nabbed for carrying out illegal excavation

Ten persons were arrested in Demodara for allegedly engaging in an illegal excavation, Ada Derana reporter said.
The suspects were arrested while they were carrying out the excavation in search of treasure in kandaketiya area last evening (26).
Several equipment used for the excavation were also seized during the raid, police said.
The suspects will be produced before the Monaragala Magistrate today.
