Religious philosophy is the only way to heal society – President

“The only way to heal the current society which faces only the competitiveness by repressing the humanity, human love and discipline is the religious philosophy”, says President Maithripala Sirisena.


He pointed out the importance of the contribution of the Mahasangha and other religious leaders in drawing the young generation towards the religious places and building a better country.


The President was speaking at the ceremonial opening of the golden fence and the Atavisi Vihara Mandiraya of Ganegama Aramanapola Rajamaha Vihara in Rathnapura.


“Every temple gives a great spiritual relief to the people. Adding of new features to the temples will give a strength to the program carried out by the government to build a society filled with moral values”, the President stated.
