A warrant has been issued by the Colombo Additional Magistrate, Dulani Amarasingha to arrest Ven. Uduwe Dhammaloka, Ada Derana learns.

The warrant had been issued after Ven. Dhammaloka left the country without prior permission from the courts, hence missing the hearing he was due to present himself at, earlier today (20).

The court case was regarding a complaint lodged by Malinda Moragoda and several locals, where Ven. Dhammaloka’s preaching broadcast had disturbed residents near the Alan Mathiniyaramaya Temple in Polhengoda.
