A ‘Satyagraha’ has been commenced by the Frontline Socialist Party and several other civil societies demanding the release of political prisoners and few other demands.

The campaign was launched since this morning (20) near the Fort Railway Station.

The immediate release of military-held lands owned by Tamil civilians in Mulative, Vavuniya and Jaffna districts is also among their demands. The persons who have engaged in Satyagraha also called the Tamil community to join hands with them.
