Main suspect linked to prison bus shooting arrested

The main suspect linked to the Kalutara prison bus shooting has been arrested after the individual was found hiding in Sella Kataragama yesterday (21), police media spokesperson Priyantha Jayakody revealed.
The individual has been identified as Bunti Hewath Kuruppuge Chathuranga Pushpakumara Mendis, who had been residing in Battaramulla.
The individual is also believed to have been linked in the illegally smuggling of alcohol, and is cutrrently being questioned extensively by the Colombo Crime Division.
The incident which occurred on the 27 February claimed the lives of five inmates and two prison officers.
