Amaraweera leaves to the US

Minister of Fisheries and Agricultural Development, Mahinda Amaraweera has left to the America where he will be signing an agreement for a scientific evaluation of the waters at the Bay of Bengal.
A special programme pertaining to the scientific evaluation of the area near the Bay of Bengal had been functioning between the University of Notre Dame University and National Aquatic Resources Research and Development Agency (NARRA), for the past five years.
The programme is believed to continue for the next five years.
