“Army Roshan” handed over to the army

The suspected underworld figure, Roshan Pradeep, who was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) has been handed over to the army. 

The individual more famously known as “army Roshan” had made many claims to the media regarding the suspects linked to the prison bus shooting, while stating that he had maintained close contact with the gang involved. 

However, he currently has two pending court cases against him, for robbery and attempted murder, police said.

After it was uncovered that the suspect in question, a former army soldier, had not been legally discharged from the service, he was handed over to the Sri Lanka Army (SLA) by the CCD for onward action.
