Weaponry found in canal in Pudukuduirippu

A few hand grenades along with bomb fuses had been found in a canal in the Pudhukudiyiruppu area, during a raid carried out under the guidance of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Kilinochchi.
Police had confiscated 14 hand grenades and 12 bomb fuses.
The confiscated items have been safely disposed by the bomb disposal unit.
Further investigations have gotten underway regarding the matter.
