Suspect gets 20 years RI over Fort railway station bombing

A suspect was given 20 years of rigorous imprisonment after being found guilty of aiding and abetting the suicide bombing at the Colombo Fort Railway Station in 2008.

Twelve civilians including eight students of D.S. Senanayake College, Colombo were killed in the suicide bombing carried out by a female LTTE cadre on February 03, 2008. 

Kanakasabe Devdasan alias Nathan was charged with plotting, aiding and abetting the suicide bombing while he was sentenced today (29) by the Colombo Special High Court.
