Five arrested over possession of heroin

Five individuals have been arrested from Kelaniya, Dematagoda, Borella and Matara over the possession of heroin.
A 33-year-old female resident of the Dematagoda area, has been arrested over the possession of 118.26g of heroin.
During another raid carried out by the Crimes Division, a female from the Borella area was arrested over the possession of 06.1g of heroin.
A 20-year-old and a 24-year-old have been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Division in Matara, over the possession of heroin weighing 04.8g.
The arrested are yet to be presented to the Maligakanda, Matara and Mahara Magistrate’s Court.
