SL CERT receives 850 complaints about social networks

850 complaints have been received regarding social networks in 2017 so far, Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team states.

Its Chief Enformation Security Engineer, Roshan Chandragupta stated that the majority of these complaints have been received regarding fake Facebook profiles.

He further added that Facebook users must take special precautions to ensure their cyber safety.
