Drought hinders farming practices in SL

Due to the drought like conditions that the country has experienced, many primary sectors workers in different parts of Sri Lanka have experienced a difficulty trying to sustaining a good enough yield. 

The managing director at the irrigation department, Wasantha Banadara, stated that the water levels, at many of the natural and man- made water reservoirs have dropped below average levels. 

He added that this situation has hindered many of the farming practices in many parts of the country.
