Govt. is committed towards uplifting social justice - President

The government is committed towards uplifting social justice, President Maithripala Sirisena says.

The President stated that the government had done a great service in the name of social justice, human rights, independence and democracy since their rise to power.

President Sirisena stated this at the opening ceremony of the new court premises in Galagedara, Preisident’s Media Division said.

Sirisena also stated that the repealing of the 18th amendment and the passing of the 19th amendment in the Constitution of Sri Lanka should be considered as a great victory by the entire population of Sri Lanka.
