SL Petroleum to go on strike if needful not done

The Sri Lanka Petroleum Trade union stated that if officials do not take the action that the union has requested for, a strike will be held in the future.
The convener of the trade union, D.J. Rajakaruna stated that government officials have been notified of the strike action.
The Petroleum trade union stated that the union will engage in a formal strike action, on any of the following days after the 22 of this month (May).
Meanwhile, the strike action that was due to take place from 00.00 today (23), organized by the Railway Locomotive Engine Drivers Union has been cancelled, as the requested needs have been attended to by the officials need fully.
