Colombo to experience 18-hour water cut tomorrow

Water supply will be cut off in several areas of Colombo for a period of 18 hours tomorrow (24), National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) states.

The Board stated that the water supply would be cut off from 10.00 pm tomorrow (24) till 4.00 am the following day (25).

Accordingly, the water supply will be cut off to the areas belonging to Colombo 02 and Colombo 03 during the aforementioned time period.

The NWSDB also stated that the areas of Thimbirigasyaya, Havelock Road, Colombo 08 and Colombo 10 would be receiving water at a low pressure.

The Board explained that the water supply would be restricted in this manner owing to the repairing of pipe lines.
