Country’s problems can be solved through unity between main political parties - CBK

A great many problems in our country can be solved through the joint efforts of the two main political parties, former President, Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga said.

She pointed out that many problems arose in the past because the Opposition did not support projects implemented by the Government.

The former President stated this upon attending a function in Ratnapura to donate relief supplies to flood victims.
