Foreign Minister meets Turkish Ambassador

The Ambassador of Turkey in Sri Lanka, Tunca Ozcuhadar states that the floor has been opened to improve trade relations between Sri Lanka and Turkey, the Government Information Center announced.

The Turkish Ambassador had stated as such upon meeting with Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake at the Foreign Ministry premises yesterday (22).

The Ambassador had also wished the Minister on his new appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs, according to the Government source.

During the meeting, the two parties paid attention towards the strengthening of investments between the two countries.

Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake also took the opportunity to appreciate the support extended by Turkey towards Sri Lanka.
