The Health Ministry has organized a cleaning program with the help of the public, which will last for a period of two weeks starting tomorrow (28).

The Ministry stated that the project will be carried out under the directives put forward by the president.

The mosquito breeding grounds that have developed as a result of the monsoon rains will be cleared with the help of the public, the defense forces, Provincial Councils and Administrations and the Ministry of Health.

The National Dengue Control unit stated that around 70,000 individuals have been reported to have contracted the dengue virus since the beginning of the year, and that 25% of the patients have been less than 19 years of age.
