Court to give decision on Dassanayake today

The Wattala Magistrate’s Court announced that former Navy Media Spokesperson, D. K. P. Dassanayake will be given a suitable decision on the case filed against him, by the Colombo Fort Magistrate today (14).
Ada Derana reporters reveal that the directive was issued by the Wattala Magistrate, Poornima Paranagama to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
D.K.P. Dassanayake, who was arrested by CID personnel is currently receiving treatment at the Navy Hospital in Welisara, under supervision by security forces.
Upon presenting the evidence to the Colombo Fort Magistrate, Lanka Jayaratne yesterday (13), she had advised the Wattala Magistrate to inspect the case and provide a suitable verdict after analyzing Dassanayake’s current situation by visiting him in hospital.
Dassanayake was arrested over the abduction and disappearance of 11 young girls from Colombo between the years 2008 and 2009.
