Knife wielding trio land in jail over murder in Thalangama

Three individuals have been arrested over a murder that occurred in the Thalangama area in April.

Police Media Unit reported that the arrested was made by the Mirihana Special Crimes Unit during a raid carried out after an anonymous source revealed details on the whereabouts of the suspects.

The murder occurred on April 28 this year when an individual was stabbed to death in the Thalangama area.

Police reports reveal that the arrestees had been residents of the Thalawathugoda area.

They will be presented to the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court today (19), while further investigations on the matter are being carried out by the Thalangama Police Station.
