PM celebrates 40th year in politics

A series of events have been organized to mark the Prime Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe’s 40 years in politics.
A religious sermon will be held today at the Kelaniya Raja Maha Temple today (23), while another Bodi Pooja will be held at the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy next month (August), which will then be followed up by many other religious ceremonies.
A special conference will be organized on the 4 of August discussing Wickremesighe’s contribution to politics.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ravi Karunanayake will also be organizing a musical concert on the 05 of August at Galle Face Green to mark Wickremesinghe’s 40 years in politics.
