Saudi pledges full support to develop SL oil industry

Saudi Arabia’s prince Fahd bin Muqrin bin Abdulaziz stated that Saudi Arabia will fully support the development of the petroleum industry within Sri Lanka. 

He pointed out that Saudi Arabia has the capacity to provide technical knowledge and financial resources to develop the oil refining industry in the country.

The views were expressed at a meeting held with the Minister of Petroleum Resources Development in Sri Lanka, Arjuna Ranatunga on the 22 of this month (July). 

The Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Board, Dammika Ranatunga and other officials were present at the event.
